SkinCycler Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 27, 2026

Summary

SkinCycler is a private, on-device skincare routine tracker. Your routines, products, schedules, and reminders are stored only on your iPhone. We don't run any servers, accounts, advertising, analytics, or crash reporting.

The only time SkinCycler reaches the internet is when you scan or look up a product barcode. We send the barcode to one or more public product databases for lookup. Nothing else is sent.

Who runs this app

SkinCycler is published by Noah Sanders. For privacy questions, contact noah@moshforge.com.

Data stored on your device

The following lives only on your iPhone in app-private storage:

This data is removed when you delete the app.

Data sent over the internet

When you scan or look up a barcode, SkinCycler queries up to three public product-database services until one returns a match:

Each request contains only the barcode (a numeric product identifier). As with any internet request, your device's IP address and a generic Capacitor user-agent string are also visible to the receiving service. We do not send your name, routines, products, or any other personal data, and we do not proxy these requests through any server we operate.

Each service has its own privacy policy:

Permissions

You can revoke either permission in Settings → SkinCycler at any time.

Analytics, tracking, and ads

SkinCycler does not include analytics, tracking, advertising, or crash-reporting libraries. There are no advertising identifiers, no cookies, and no third-party SDKs that profile you.

Children

SkinCycler is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone of any age, because we don't collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Because we don't collect or hold your data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on your behalf. To remove all SkinCycler data from your device, delete the app — that erases everything.

For any privacy question, contact noah@moshforge.com.

Changes

If we change how SkinCycler handles data, we'll update this policy and revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be flagged in the App Store release notes.
